Solo date + Trying Starbucks coffee for the 1st time

I know, I am late to the party, but I remember walking into Starbucks in downtown Cleveland and turning around because the pastry was so expensive. Of course, I’ve worked in small cafe’s where the coffee costs about $1 a cup for a full 8 oz. I get the hype.. attractive people, attractive cups, but no one told me the formula for getting my nickname called so I’m a little disgruntled about that, but I digress.

Ohio’s Marble Room: Luxury Dining

Entrance to the Marble Room (Downtown Cleveland)

Think of a modern day Great Gatsby on a subdued scale.

The Marble Room’s entryway is so narrow that you will walk right past it, but once you open those heavy brass doors you walk down an Alice in Wonderland rabbit hole. It is grand and breathtaking in architecture and interior design.

The food is good, the staff is knowledgeable, and the ambiance is exciting with a live entertainer playing, walking up and down the aisles – in my case a saxophone, (I’ve read other reviews and they said a violin was played.) The music was non discriminatory with “Crossroads” by Bone and “Songbird” by Kenny G making an appearance
