Ohio’s Marble Room: Luxury Dining

Entrance to the Marble Room (Downtown Cleveland)

Think of a modern day Great Gatsby on a subdued scale.

The Marble Room’s entryway is so narrow that you will walk right past it, but once you open those heavy brass doors you walk down an Alice in Wonderland rabbit hole. It is grand and breathtaking in architecture and interior design.

The food is good, the staff is knowledgeable, and the ambiance is exciting with a live entertainer playing, walking up and down the aisles – in my case a saxophone, (I’ve read other reviews and they said a violin was played.) The music was non discriminatory with “Crossroads” by Bone and “Songbird” by Kenny G making an appearance

Solo dates build character – Dating myself

I took myself on a solo date at a luxury restaurant in Ohio. The alone part wasn’t planned, but I stepped out anyway. It was a wonderful experience and I learned a lot about myself; first of all I like caviar! It was my first time trying it and I was pleasantly surprised. I was able to blend in effortlessly with the crowd (as always) but it was the supplementary etiquette lessons that I learned on YouTube that came in handy. I was complimented by the manager as well during the course of the evening which was a boost for me seeing as though I was the only person of color there dining – it’s important for me to represent my family positively.

I don’t want to ramble, you can watch my experience on YOUTUBE

Sincerely, xoxo
