Designed with Bermuda in mind

Upon designing these earrings it reminded me of the crystal clear and blue waters of Bermuda; beautiful, sparkling, warm and inviting. These beautiful and elegant earrings reflect colors of blue and green, there is just something about these colors that reminds me of a getaway vacation in a faraway location.

Of course the components are gold filled so they won’t change colors (ever) and the stone of choice is crystal-Swarovski Crystal. They are short dangle earrings for pierced ears. The shape of the crystal is now archived so they aren’t likely to be found anywhere else.

Interview with Ohio’s Own Actress- Heather Rich

Lights, Camera, Action

When I asked to interview Heather Rich, I had no idea that she is a somewhat seasoned actress that is very compelling while at work.

Heather Rich has come up against many obstacles that she has overcome, but has shattered stereotypes along the way. She grew up in a single parent household in which she is 1 of 4. Her mother always worked 3 jobs to care for the family and battled stage 4 cancer. Can you imagine the responsibilities that came along with that as a young child? Still Heather persevered.

I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Heather began exploring theater while in the 5th grade and won the lead role as Peter Pan! Her determination has lead her to act in at least 8 roles, the most current role as “Lyric” of the stage play and movie “Jason’s Lyric; In addition she is also seen in the YouTube series “Upstairs”  Episode 102 around mark 06:20. The role is charming, romantic and we get to see her act vulnerably as well. I couldn’t stop smiling.

To contact Heather you can reach her here on FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM and watch her work on YOUTUBE.

Heather so graciously answered my interview questions:

Q1: How do you prepare for roles:

A: I turn all of my lines into a song; for character development I study the person I am assigned to emulate their voice, movement and style.

Q2: What kind of actor would you describe yourself as:

A: Well rounded, emotional

Q3: Is the competition for roles high in Ohio?

A: Very high, competition is good, makes a person better, and want to work harder.

Heather does not currently have an agent but is open to representation.

I love to dress, that’s no secret to anyone that knows me. Fashion is into me. My super girly approach came a little later in life because in my youth I didn’t want unwarranted attention, but I was tomboy fly; so much that the guys used to call me “G.Q.” affectionately after the distinguished Gentleman’s Quarterly magazine. Fine by me, kept me out of drama with the high school girls and I set a couple of trends along the way. (Bright colored t-shirts under our dress code white shirts)

Of course my sense of style eventually sashayed into the girly approach. Which is why I believe one is naked without accessories and, when it comes to formal attire I feel the same if one doesn’t possess a good, eye catching clutch.

Enter my hand beaded special occasion clutches. They are unique, stylish and labor heavy, the beauty of my design is the fact that since they are handmade they are completely custom. In addition they are so close to my heart and, I wouldn’t design something I wouldn’t wear. Step into the posh circle or invite someone else to it.

Dress like a lady, think like a POWER PLAYER.

I was up for feeling powerful, sexy and classy at the same time. I decided to go for RED.

Who can resist a good modest, yet sexy red dress? Certainly not me. In addition, I tend to lean toward sweater dresses for the practicality. They are very forgiving and hide otherwise problem areas. During wintertime I often get discouraged with clothing in the Midwest because the variety of hues are few and far between amidst the blues, grays and of course black. With that being said, this look is perfect for the winter because it is stylish, warm and introduces a much needed color boost during an otherwise drab season. This style of dress can easily transition from work to dinner, worship or date night.  I purchased this little red number early in the season at H&M so unfortunately it is no longer available, however; although not sweater material, here’s an attractive alternative. (It was very difficult to find a perfect match.)

For makeup I went with a  bold red lip and subtle eyes. My booties are by Marc Fisher with gold detailing on the back, purse is Michael Kors, the sweater vest is Baby Phat (throwback)  and the attractive baubles can be purchased here.

Ladies, be seductive, show the youngsters how it’s done.. “PUT ON YOUR RED DRESS AND SLIP ON YOUR HIGH HEELS”.. you know the rest.

What’s your go to color for the winter? Let’s have an exchange of thoughts and ideas. Comment upper right corner.
