Perfumes that leave you smelling like a homewrecker.

Let me start by saying if I offend anyone by this post, that’s good- because some scents of  parfum are not meant to be worn. Just kidding, perfume is in the nose of the beholder.

The following  parfums are bold, brash and unapologetic.

1.Love Relentlessly by Tori Burch smells so unabashed, it’s almost offensive. The name of the parfum is appropriate because it smells like a forlorn lover who won’t let go. Simply Relentless. On the website the definition states that Love Relentlessly is a sparkling mix of fiery pink pepper and patchouli fuse with dewy rose and addictive amber. Amber and pepper? Meh. They got one thing right. The fragrance IS fiery in an angry sense and the strong smell lingers, proposing that YOU have to be the one to end the relationship by washing it off. For you adventurers the price for a 1.7 ounce/50ML bottle is 86.00 USD; the larger size 3.4 ounce/100 ML retails for 115.00 USD.

2. Rose Radiant Gold by Michael Kors is a shock to the senses. The notes in this scent are floral, musk and spices. There are rave reviews for this scent, but everyone I ask around me say otherwise. This fragrance smells so unpleasant that you want nothing more from it than a one night stand; that is you tested the product and it fails. The floral and spice notes are fighting to outshine one another while the musk hides in the background scared to come to the forefront. The 3 of these notes are a bad influence on one another. That’s my analogy , however, if you wish to be brave and venture out the bottle retails between $42-60 USD.

ENDNOTE: These statements are open for opinion, do you have any you think should be added to the “homewrecker” list?

BONUS: If you’re unsure about the longevity of a fragrance or how long it lingers on your skin, be sure to get a sample before committing.

Be kind and love another, xoxo

Label Me Posh

I celebrate people, I love writing and helping them to access their inner beauty through clothing, accessories and housewares which I believe helps to build self esteem. With those factors in mind I built my business - and this site, so through this avenue both can be expressed; as an outlet. My style can be described as feminine, flirty and sometimes edgy. I am also a person shopper that shops for both men and women so I'm able to give advice on what to wear and how to wear it. In the process I've learned to love myself for the person I've become.
